Crochet Wedding Gift Ideas That Get Kept
Almost everything at a wedding is temporary. Crochet is the exception, which is why it has become popular for both the bouquet itself and for gifts to the couple.
The keepsake bridal bouquet
A crocheted bouquet can be carried on the day and then displayed permanently, which removes the preservation step entirely. It is also lighter than a fresh bouquet of the same size and will not bruise in transit or wilt through a long day of photographs.
Order early: bridal-scale work has the longest lead time of anything we make.
Coordinating the smaller pieces
Buttonholes, hair pieces and flower-girl posies can be worked from the same yarn lot as the bouquet so the tones match exactly — something fresh flowers cannot guarantee across separate deliveries.
Gifts for the couple
For guests, the strongest gifts are the ones the couple will use at home: a table runner, a pair of cushions, or a personalised piece carrying the wedding date. A recreated version of the bridal bouquet also works beautifully as a first-anniversary gift.
Favours and quantities
Small crocheted favours — single stems, mini hearts, coasters — work at volume, but they are hand-made units, so quantity and deadline need to be agreed well in advance. Send your guest count and date and we will quote per piece.
