Puff Stitch
Several loops drawn up and closed together, giving a soft raised pillow of yarn.

Definition
Yarn over and draw up a loop three or more times in the same stitch, then close all loops with one pull-through.
Overview
Puffs are softer and rounder than bobbles because the loops are never worked off individually — nothing locks them into a firm shape.
They eat yarn, so a puff blanket needs noticeably more than a plain one of the same size.
Characteristics
- Soft raised texture
- Yarn hungry
- Best in smooth yarn
Typical uses
- Baby blankets
- Cushions
