Definition
A slip stitch draws the yarn through both the work and the loop on the hook in one movement, adding no height.
Overview
Most patterns use it as a connector, but worked in the back loop across many rows it makes a firm, knit-look fabric popular for cuffs, soles and bag bases.
It tightens easily; a hook one or two sizes larger is normal for slip-stitch fabric.
